At the end of April 2024, we successfully launched the 3rd iteration of the VW LED emblem, which seamlessly integrates with the front RADAR ACC Pre-Collision Sensor. This emblem sets a new standard in slimness within the VW LED emblem market. At the end of the year, we released the 3.5th Generation.
In early June 2025, we promoted the 4th Generation VW LED Emblem, which demonstrates significant progress compared to the 3.5th Generation.

Let’s see the improvements of the 4th Generation VW LED Emblem.
The 4th Generation Dynamic VW LED Emblem represents a substantial improvement over its 3.5th generation predecessor, primarily in its design and waterproofing.
Enhanced Design: Flatter Back Plate
A key upgrade in the 4th generation is the elimination of the 3mm-5mm protrusions on the back. The back plate is now completely flat, resulting in a cleaner and potentially more seamless installation.

Superior Waterproofing: Hand-Sealed Precision
While the 3.5th generation used machine-based waterproofing, the 4th generation benefits from meticulous, human-made waterproofing. This hands-on approach provides a more reliable and effective seal, ensuring greater durability and longevity against the elements. Our 2nd generation Audi LED emblem uses human-made waterproofing, which has better waterproofing. This is why we used human-made waterproofing in the 4th generation VW LED emblem as well.
Simplified Installation: Effortless Wire Routing
The 4th generation introduces a redesigned connection method. Unlike the 3.5th generation, which used a bulky plug directly connecting the emblem to the control box, the new design simplifies wire threading. This makes installation much easier by eliminating the hassle of navigating large plugs through tight spaces.
We received questions about why you didn’t send us the plug style. Why did you send us the pins instead? It’s because we raised concerns about the space, and we don’t want our customers to have to remove the radar to thread the wires. Therefore, we switched to using the pins for plugs.

Dynamic New Animations
Beyond the structural improvements, the 4th generation also elevates the visual experience. The 3.5th generation lit up directly without any special effects. The new 4th generation, however, features a simple yet captivating animation: it lights up, flashes three times, and then remains steadily illuminated, adding a unique touch to your VW.

we spent about 6 months upgrading the 4th Generation VW LED Emblem. We identified the weaknesses of the 3.5th Generation VW LED Emblem and corrected them in the 4th Generation.
