We have many customers who want the VW LED Emblem to light up at night. Is this possible? Yes, it is possible, though it’s a bit more complex than simply connecting to the fuse box or LED bar plug.

How to Connect the VW LED Emblem for Nighttime Illumination Only

You will need a VW LED Emblem Model Wire to connect to the fuse box located under the car’s steering wheel.

One end of the wire connects to the BCM computer plug (Plug A), and the other connects to the VW LED Emblem. The black wire should be connected to the ground. This way, the VW LED Emblem will synchronize with the headlights, which will light up at night.

On my vehicle, there is no pin on A59 — only on A58. Does the red wire also need to be connected to the plus (positive)?

Our engineer said that you can only use an electric pen to test and find it.
Search the connectors near pin 58 for the wire that receives power when the car is unlocked and cut power when the car is locked.
