How to install the VW Led Emblem on Golf MK8(2019-2024) | Video Tutorial

The new generation of Golf models (2022-2024) features two LED bars but does not include the VW LED Emblem. This update introduces the new generation VW Led emblem for Golf, specifically designed to be compatible with the ACC/radar for emergency braking system present in these vehicles. Unlike the older generation LED emblem, which could interfere with the radar’s operation, our new generation VW Led emblem is equipped to work seamlessly with the ACC/radar for emergency braking, allowing you to use both features simultaneously.

The highlighted cable (Green) is the radar/ACC wire. Do not touch the ACC cable. Splice into the cable/connector that powers the left/right LED bar. Please refer to the attached photo for clarification. Our customer has created a diagram to illustrate this.

After installation, when you start your car, the VW LED emblem and the LED bar will light up together.

How to install the VW Led Emblem on Golf MK8(2019-2024) | Plug-and-Play wire

To install the VW LED emblem in your Golf 8 easily, we created a plug-and-play wire. One end connects to the VW LED emblem, while the other connects to your LED bar plug.

There are two LED bar plugs (LEFT and RIGHT) behind your LED bars, so you can plug them in to install the VW LED emblem. It’s extremely easy!

This is only suitable if your car has the original LED bars. If you don’t have an LED car, you won’t be able to use the plug.
