Description

Many of our customers have the flip-style hatch latch without a built-in backup camera. For this setup, we recommend our VW Rear Red LED Emblem designed specifically for flip-style mechanisms.

We will include a camera delete plug (blanking plate) to securely block the camera opening while maintaining your emblem’s ability to flip and release the trunk. This is a complete 110mm assembly replacement; please note that a simple emblem swap will not work for this modification—the entire housing must be replaced for proper function and fitment.

Compatibility Check

Please remove your trunk’s interior cover and send us a photo of the back of your stock emblem, similar to the attached reference photo. This allows our team to inspect the internal structure and confirm if this part is the correct match for your car.
